6.1 Save heart rate data in Polar compatible files

The Polar format is able to hold heart rate data, information about laps and the length of a lap also in meters. Several programs are able to read this kind of files. The format was invented by Polar and is used bey their own software, coming with some of their watches.

Menu Extras

Click on the menu point Save heart rate..., a file dialog box appear. In case you've specified a path under Settings... (look at 4.1.3.5 HRM−files) the dialog is allready positioned in this directory. There is already a file name, consisting of the date and time of the session. Simply click "Save" to save the file. Of course you can overwrite the suggestions, if you want to.

This format can be imported by the sport logger theosport.
